Not what I expected
Okay so I heard about
this movie and my immediate thought was "What?" However, after watching
the movie, I thought it was actually really funny. The film had the
predictable storyline of a classic romantic comedy, but it still had
scenes that threw me for a loop. Nick Thune gave a hilarious performance
as Rich's dick, and still managed to keep some humor when things turned
semi-serious at the end. Cam Gigandet skillfully played the role of
"douche-turned-loving-boyfriend" and I thought there was good character
development. As for the film as a whole, I think it managed to convey
the message of taking responsibility for one's own actions and to be
honest, while still being entertaining and overall weird. If you're
skeptical about the movie, I would say give a shot and you might find
that it's very enjoyable.
