Best movie ever!

The gorgeous Robert Ri'chard stars in a typical college student- come-stripper story in Chocolate City. Urged by his brother Chris McCoy, played by a sorta-funny DeRay Davis, Michael McCoy somehow finds his way (who really cares how he got there we just care that he is there) to a dance floor where he dances topless for cash. I don't want to spoil the movie for you (ha ha) but I must say, I don't understand why anyone who is even remotely attracted to the male species would give this movie less than 10 stars. This movie delivered EXACTLY the package it sells, and more. The dancers unfold like chocolates out of a Godiva box! Bitter Dark (Tyson Beckford), Sweet Caramel (Robert), Hunky Milk Chocolate (don't know his name but he is the first dancer and he alone was worth the ticket). The dancing was crazy! 1000% better than Magic Mike (sorry Channing) on sexiness of the dance, much smoother and gave you a glimpse at what REALLY goes down in the club, not the watered down version.

Moral of this critique is - if you like looking at hot men, you will LOVE this movie. If you are looking for a great, life changing movie with an amazing script that grips your emotions and inspires you to look at life differently you will probably not find that here. Unless of course you started the movie not liking men and then by the end became a full fledged queen, which I could totally see happening. They were that hot.

Storyline

The Breakfast Club meets The Grudge in this sexy, dark comedy-thriller! Six prep school kids from Crestview Academy, home to the spoiled offspring of society's elite, find themselves stuck in detention on a frightfully dark and stormy Saturday afternoon. During their 8 hour incarceration, each of the six kids falls victim to a horrible "accident" until only one of them remains. As each of these spoiled rich kids bites the dust, the story takes on a series of humorous and frantic twists and turns. Is one of the kids secretly evening the school's social playing field? Or have the ghosts of prestigious Crestview Academy finally come to punish the school's worst (and seemingly untouchable) brats? One thing is for sure...Daddy's money can't save them now. (Based on the best selling indie comic book series/graphic novel of the same name.)

Nothing amazing but it is pretty entertaining. A basic cookie cutter teen horror but I have seen much worse. I say B.

"We could find out if this place is cursed if you really wanted to." Six kids at a prep school are in detention when they wonder if the school is really haunted. What starts off as a joke turns deadly as one by the the kids meet violent deaths. At the same time as the deaths more and more truths are revealed. Can they find out who is behind it all before it is too late? To start with the movie is not that bad. It does have a lot of pretty people and some brutal deaths but there is also some really funny moments in it. One of the easiest ways to describe this is the Breakfast Club with a horror twist. The movie is geared toward the Urban Legend or Final Destination fans but for a cookie cutter teenage horror movie this isn't that bad and is entertaining. I did enjoy it but don't think I'd watch it again. Overall, nothing amazing but it is kind of fun to watch and if you are looking for a movie to just put in and watch you could do worse. I give it a B.

Not what I expected

Okay so I heard about this movie and my immediate thought was "What?" However, after watching the movie, I thought it was actually really funny. The film had the predictable storyline of a classic romantic comedy, but it still had scenes that threw me for a loop. Nick Thune gave a hilarious performance as Rich's dick, and still managed to keep some humor when things turned semi-serious at the end. Cam Gigandet skillfully played the role of "douche-turned-loving-boyfriend" and I thought there was good character development. As for the film as a whole, I think it managed to convey the message of taking responsibility for one's own actions and to be honest, while still being entertaining and overall weird. If you're skeptical about the movie, I would say give a shot and you might find that it's very enjoyable.
